About This Tool
The ProcessImage2BPMN tool is a standalone web application that extracts academically rigorous, ISO 19510:2013 compliant BPMN process models from uploaded diagram images using Vision AI with soundness validation. It is part of the BPRboard platform, a unified tool for Business Process Redesign developed as a Bachelor's thesis at the Technische Universität München (TUM).

The evaluation metrics implemented in this tool are based on:

The AI extraction uses Vision Language Models via the Anthropic and OpenAI APIs.
Data Processing & Privacy
Images uploaded to this tool are sent to the server and processed by a Vision AI model (Anthropic Claude or OpenAI GPT-4o). Images are not stored on the server beyond the duration of the API request. No user accounts or personal data are collected by this standalone tool.
API calls to Anthropic and OpenAI are subject to the respective providers' privacy policies:
Server access logs (IP address, timestamp, request path) are retained for a maximum of 14 days for operational purposes.
